Steve Stoloff
CEO
steve@govavi.com
Steve grew up in Clifton Park, a small town in frigid upstate New York. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Troy, NY) in 1999 with a degree in Management and Technology. He finally got sick of the cold and moved to sunny San Diego in the fall of 2002. Unable to shake his East Coast work ethic, Steve busily climbed the corporate ladder until he was the Vice President of Strategic Planning at RealAge. In November '06, Steve "retired" from corporate life and was getting ready to board a jet to Costa Rica when Latane called him with an offer he couldn't refuse… a chance to run a business that changes the world in an amazingly fun and positive way. With Steve's drive for success, intelligence, and Sour-Then-Sweet personality, "The Sour Patch Kid" has taken VAVi Sports to a different level of succes. Nowadays, you can find Steve "auditing the customer experience" on a kickball field near you.

Jaylynne Martin
Marketing Manager
Jaylynne@govavi.com
Her real name is Jessica, but since we already had one of those at VAVi, we configured a first initial/middle name nickname and hence: Jaylynne was born. (We know, confusing, but it works). "Jaylynne" grew up in Northern Virginia (aka NOVA) where she played soccer and field hockey. She attended James Madison University with a Major in Marketing and Minor in Graphic Design. After working for an IT solutions company in DC, she decided to move west in June 2006 and now calls sunny San Diego her home. Being a Northern VA native, Jaylynne was born and raised a Washington Redskins fan. You can find her at Winston's in OB every Sunday watching the Skins during football season. Don't be shy to say "Hi" if you see her playing on your opposing team in dodgeball, kickball or various other VAVi leagues.

Charlie Trottier
Sponsorship and Promotions Manager
charlie@govavi.com
Charlie Trottier is a native New Yorker who kept moving west until she hit the Pacific Ocean in 2004. She attended Arizona State University before transferring to San Diego State, where she graduated summa cum laude in 2006 with a journalism degree. True to her Canadian lineage, Charlie is a huge hockey fan, but admits dodgeball is the most fun and competitive sport ever invented. You’ll see her in every VAVi dodgeball league throwing hard and laughing harder. Charlie currently resides in Ocean Beach with her fiancé, Kevin, and dog, Dublin.

Ivette Monroy
Contractor Manager/Cleaning Lady
ivette@govavi.com
The former-Mexican went to a private catholic school in Tijuana until high school, where she transferred to Mt. Carmel High in 1999. Ivette graduated from Cal State Fullerton in Dec. 2007, majoring in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. With a successful journalistic background, we can almost guarantee you’ll always see Ivette either with her head in a book or hanging out with her family—she’s really close to her family, don’t believe us? Click on her picture! However, on any given day, you’ll find her wearing a pair of unlaced soccer cleats, kicking the ball around, winning championships on one of her 7 soccer teams! If you end up meeting Ivette, you better speak Anchorman or she’ll leave ya in the dust. (BTW: She's amazing at cleaning the office...so if your apartment needs tidyin' up...)
“Great story. Rich and compelling.”
