Simple Rules
- HAVE FUN. PLAY NICE.
- PLAYERS: 10 fielders per team (12-15 players on the roster)
- SUBSTITUTIONS: Free substitutions in the field. Everyone kicks.
- FIELD: Played on all grass field with 60' bases.
- EQUIPMENT: Played with a regulation 10" red playground ball.
- INNINGS: A regulation game is 3 innings or 25 minutes, which ever comes first. No inning may start after 20 minutes.
- SCORING: If there is a tie after 3 full innings, a runner will be placed on 2nd base with one out until a winner is determined (see detailed rules).
- COED RULES: 10 fielders, 6 men, 4 women (see detailed rules)
- PLAY: This game is roughly based on softball (see below).
- WIN THE TOURNAMENT: A modified double elimination tournament will be played before lunch. The top teams from each division will compete for the championship in a single elimination tournament after lunch. All teams are guaranteed 4 games even if you're really bad (3 scheduled before lunch and 2 after lunch which may include BYEs).
- ALCOHOL: May be consumed in the designated Beer Garden ONLY.

Detailed Rules
- Fielders

4 outfielders, 1 pitcher, 1 catcher, and 4 infielders

Outfielders must be at least 10 feet beyond the infield

Infielders must start behind the 1st to 3rd diagonal

Catcher must be at least 3 feet behind the plate
- Pitching
- Strike Zone is the plate plus 1 foot on either side
- Strike Zone is 1 foot high
- Ball must be thrown underhand
- Ball must bounce at least 3 times before crossing the plate
- 4 Balls is a walk, 3 strikes is an out
- Foul on the 3rd strike is an out
- Kicking
- All players kick in alternating male / female order

It works out great for uneven lineups (6 men, 4 women)
- Ball must cross the plate before it is kicked
- Balls kicked in front of the plate are foul
- Foul balls may be caught for an out
- Runner may not advance (or be tagged out)
- Fair balls must cross the bunt line in fair territory
- Balls touched by the defense before the bunt line are foul
- Runners
- Runners must run to the safety bases at 1st and home
- Absolutely no sliding or diving while running the bases
- Force plays are the same as softball
- Runners may tag up as in softball
- Runners hit by the ball are out, the play remains live
- Balls may not be thrown at runners above the shoulders
- Runners hit above the shoulders by a thrown ball are safe and advance one base
- No leading off or stealing
- Runners passing the commit line must advance to home
- It is always a force at home (regardless of runners on base)
- Sportsmanship
- Both divisions are intended to be fun for ALL participants
- Playing for money does not give you the right to abuse umpires, taunt opponents, or act in an otherwise inappropriate manner. Be nice. Play nice. Have fun.
- Players may be ejected from the game for:
- Arguing with or verbally abusing the umpire
- Taunting or verbally abusing an opponent
- Unsportsmanlike conduct in general
- Game Ejections are final and will be at the sole discretion of the Umpire
- Players will be ejected from the tournament for:
- Physically abusing the umpire
- Two game ejections
- Fighting or causing a fight
- Extreme unsportsmanlike conduct
- Tournament Ejections are final and will be at the sole discretion of the Tournament Director
- Players ejected from the tournament are no longer roster players and are not eligible to win any cash or prizes
- Extra Innings (if necessary)
- 1st Extra Inning (if necessary)
- Place one runner on 2nd base (man or woman)
- Start inning with 1 out
- If a man is placed on 2nd the next woman in the batting order kicks
- If a woman is placed on 2nd the next man in the batting order kicks
- Play rest of inning as normal
- 2nd Extra Inning (if necessary)
- Place one runner on 3rd base (man or woman)
- Start inning with 2 outs
- If a man is placed on 3rd the next woman in the batting order kicks
- If a woman is placed on 3rd the next man in the batting order kicks
- Play rest of inning as normal
- 3rd Extra Inning (if necessary)
- One player from each team will compete in a kickoff
- One player will pitch to his or her teammate (same team)
- The ball must cross the plate (as normal) before it is kicked
- The player to kick the ball the farthest in fair territory between the cones will be declared the winner
- The distance will be measured from home plate in a straight line to the ball where it stops
- Players get one pitch
- Players get one kick to put the ball between the cones
- The visiting team will kick first
- If neither player kicks the ball between the cones, two new players (of the opposite sex) will be chosen to compete in another kickoff
- This will be ridiculous if it happens
