Why Join one of VAVi's Coed Softball Leagues?
Softball is the original VAVi team sport and our participants can't seem to get enough of it! Our softball leagues promise to be a great time and we have softball leagues running almost every day of the week so there's no excuse not to join. The only question is..."What are you waiting for?"
VAVi's San Diego Softball League Lowdown
- 9 regular season games
- Games consist of 7 innings
- 3-pitch softball league - Batters get a max of 3 pitches from a member of their own team
- Tournament for the top teams on the final week
- 12-14 players on a team, half of whom are females
- Small groups that reach 12 players will be considered their own "Team" and we will not add any free agents to your roster
- 9 players on the field with a maximum of 5 males
- Each person receives VAVi Team T-shirt
Attire
- You must wear your VAVi team shirt
- Cleats are helpful
- Bring your baseball glove!
- Make sure at least one person on your team brings a legal bat (see the rules for legal bats)
What’s Also Included in the Fee
- VAVi team t-shirt
- Refereed games
- Nine regular season games
- Tournament for top teams
- Winner of the tournament receives a VAVi discount towards their next league
What Do You Need to Bring?
- Glove
- Someone on your team needs to bring a bat
- Cleats are optional but recommended
- VAVi issued Team T-shirt (given on the first night of the league)
- Your team has the option to bring helmets, but they are not provided by our league
