Contest Guidelines and rules:

Read all of the rules very carefully, as failure to follow them could disqualify the design that you slaved over. We can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Design Guidelines

• Your design must be inspired by VAVi Sport & Social Club in general and must resemble current design. (shown above)
  
• Your design should include the words “VAVi Sport & Social Club” and is best to not have other words.
  
• The design could just be typographical in nature. So you type designers, go nuts.
  
• The shirt should be something that someone would want to wear even if they are not participating in VAVi events. In short, universally esthetically pleasing. Easy, right?
  
• Use of the VAVi logo is preferred but not required. The VAVi logo must remain the same as present.
  
• You may submit unlimited designs, but they must be submitted as separate entries.
  
• Your design must be wholly original. By submitting a design you are guaranteeing that you hold rights to everything in it, and that it does not contain any copyright material. This is really important. It will keep you from being sued.
  

Design Specifications

• It’s best if you create your design in Photoshop or Illustrator or another professional design program. If you use another means to make your design, you must be prepared to provide print-ready files of the design should you win. Please submit your design as a 320 x 320 px .jpg/.gif or .png (our system doesn’t accept .pdfs).
• Your design should contain a maximum of 1 color because it will be one color on all shirts (plus the shirt color).
• Please use the Photoshop or Illustrator T-Shirt templates that are 10” wide x 13” high.
• If you wish to draw your design please do so within the 10" wide by 13" high parameters scan it on the computer and save it as a .png .jpg or .gif image.
• Your design can only be on the FRONT of the shirt, and must fit within the printable area of a 10” wide x 13” high rectangle.
• Click one of the following links to download the VAVi Logo in Black or White: VAVi logo in BLACK : VAVi logo in WHITE This logo will be printed in the same single color as the rest of your design.

There is no age limit to the contest. Any submitted design becomes the property of VAVi Sport & Social Club and can be used at any time in the future for our marketing and promotion purposes.

VAVi Sport & Social Club will have all rights to the winning design. By submitting, you agree that if your design wins, it can be used by VAVi Sport & Social Club on a T-Shirt and other promotional items at any time. The winner will receive a prize of Free VAVi leagues for a year! (Total of 5 possible leagues...Yeah!) -OR- One Free Team Sign-up! We reserve the right to make adjustments to the winning design.

Entries will be judged by the staff of VAVi Sport & Social Club as well as by the public. The winning design will be unveiled at our New Years Eve Party at Catamaran Spa and Resorts Hotel!

VAVi Sport & Social Club is not responsible for lost or late entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by VAVi Sport & Social Club, or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering (which shall be deemed to include automated voting), unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes that corrupt or affect then administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this contest, VAVi reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or any entry that has been the subject of such tampering by third parties, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. VAVi Sport & Social Club reserves the right to select winners from eligible entries received as of the termination date. Any attempt by a contestant to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, VAVi Sport & Social Club reserves the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent of the law. If there is a dispute as to the identity of the Entrant, the prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the email address. The “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned.
