Dear VAVi Family,

We hope you have all been able to stay safe during these times. Our office and workforce have diminished drastically, like so many other companies during the pandemic. We have used the time and resources we have to stay in contact with all local municipalities, and private venues. Through this we have been constantly given no update or timetable for a return. We do see that at the very least we should have shared this information on a more consistent basis with our members. So, for that we apologize.
In regards to the announcements of California beginning stage 3 of reopening our due diligence has found that our activities still do not fall under these new guidelines and that local municipalities are waiting to receive answers to the same questions we are asking.
That being said we are extremely hopeful that programming will begin to resume over the next few weeks and month. This resumption of play will be staggered and based on specific sports and specific locations. Our goal at this moment is to guarantee that when we are given the green light to resume we are able to provide all of our members with the safest environment to have fun in. We will be sharing information on the changes that should be expected at our leagues once they reopen via our social media platforms over the next two weeks.
We understand the responsibility we must take as a company that creates and strengthens community especially now during this time of social injustice and unrest. While we have no plans of separating from our current charitable partner, The Challenged Athletes Foundation, we are working on ways to better support the Black Lives Matter movement within San Diego. In doing so we ask team captains in our leagues for feedback as our team captains have always been those able to lead and organize groups. We are excited to share more of our community outreach programs in the near future.
