What to Expect
San Diego, and even just Pacific Beach, has so many activities to offer for New Years Eve. VAVi Sport and Social Club has been one of the top sports and events organizers in San Diego for the past 15 years — and this year, VAVi is hosting the hottest NYE Party in Pacific Beach: the NYE Beach Party. The Catamaran Hotel Resort Hotel is the venue, sitting in a perfect location alongside Mission Bay. Speaking of Mission Bay, the Catamaran New Years Party offers a VIP Boat New Years Eve Upgrade, which puts you on a NYE Boat to celebrate the occasion.
The New Years Beach Party will have a lineup of six DJs. They’re going to keep the music going all night long into the early morning. Here’s the lineup: DJ DiJiTAL, DJ Who and Paulo da Rosa, DJ Byrd, DJ FishFonics, DJ Jenny Pocket, and DJ Mancat.
DJ DiJiTAL is a Hollywood DJ who’s spun at numerous nightclubs across the U.S., from Miami to Las Vegas and Chicago. You can expect to hear rock, dubstep, top 40, hip hop and more. Next on the list are DJ Who and Paulo da Rosa, who fuse soul and electronic music into one funky show. These artists have been on big stages from New York to Portugal, opening for artists like Imagine Dragons and Maroon 5 in an array of clubs and festivals.
DJ Byrd is one of San Diego’s hottest rising DJs. He’s played at all sorts of events, and is now a resident DJ at Trailer Park After Dark. DJ FishFonics is a San Diego-based DJ who plays all types of music at clubs around the city, and he’s played on stages in Canada, Mexico, and Maui as well. DJ Jenny Pocket represents southern California in clubs and social events, showing off her DJ talent whether its old school or today’s Top 40. Last on our list but certainly not least, DJ Mancat– just voted San Diego’s best DJ by the San Diego Reader.
